Andrew Smith founded LandSmith in the spring of 2021 after working in the Hamilton land development, home-building and construction industry for the previous 15 years. Andrew has extensive knowledge of the engineering approvals process for land development throughout Southern Ontario, together with a comprehensive understanding of stormwater management analysis and design requirements. Since founding LandSmith Andrew is focused on building a strong team to service the local land-development industry building industry with excellence.

Brandon Cole graduated with honors from Mohawk College in 2022 with a Civil Engineering Technician diploma.  Brandon has worked with LandSmith since 2022 completing field surveys, site inspection services, and with a focus on Civil 3D.  A quick learner with a great work ethic, Brandon has quickly become a LandSmith asset as he works towards his C. Tech designation.

Atticus attended the University of Toronto graduating with a Bachelor’s of Applied Science in Civil Engineering with a minor in Environmental Engineering in 2013. After graduation Atticus took a detour from an engineering career, deciding to swing a hammer in a family operated construction business for 10 years. Atticus joined LandSmith in 2023, and the practical experience that he gained is now being put to good use as he works hard on local Civil Engineering projects and gains experience towards his Professional Engineer designation.

Owen Jarvis attended both McMaster University (Honours Bachelor of Arts, Geography and Environmental Studies, 2021) and Mohawk College (Advanced Diploma, Civil Engineering Technology, 2024). Owen started with LandSmith in February 2025 and in a short period has become an integral part of the team, completing his tasks with attention to detail and technical proficiency.
